Wildflower Center spring sale

I have usually gone to the members-only preview sales, but I just couldn’t make it all the way down there on Friday afternoon.  Saturday was CRAZY.  Actually, I don’t think the crowds were there for the sale but it was a mob nonetheless.  I couldn’t leave without a bluebonnet shot.

Here is what I brought home.
plant sale

This is a random group of plants that I don’t know much about. They sounded interesting at the time! I might have to make a spot for the sun-loving ones. It will be an interesting experiment.
Left to right we have Engelmann’s daisy, common selfheal, big red sage, and woolly stemodia. I also got a one-gallon winecup, which I think will be nice with my new bed where the softleaf yuccas are.
