Beneficial insects

I was turning on the hose this morning and noticed these lacewing eggs on a blade of grass nearby.  They are so pretty, on their long delicate stalks.  I have only seen them on one other plant at the house, a dracaena that was on the porch.

I’m off to Colorado for a couple of weeks, and I may or may not check in.  I’ll have my camera, so expect lots of photos when I get back.  Ciao!

What great eyes you must have to spot those! Very cool picture. I like the one on your header too.

Better not to check in. I have a friend that has been in Colorado for a month and he cant call without mentioning how cool it is and making me lust for Colorado. I’m sure you would have to rub our noses in it a little as well. Have a safe trip. Bob

I’m glad to know the identity of those eggs. They’re keepers.
